Műhely - Achs Károlyné: A református iskolák, tanáregyéniségek, diákmozgalmak emberformáló hatása

Műhely Summary MRS.. KÁROLY ACHS The Impact of Reformed Schools. Teachers and Student Movements on personal growth The essay analyses the studies of Géza Kiss (1891-1947), a pastor, ethnographer and linguist, to explore how his personal and spiritual development was shaped. Géza Kiss pursued grammar school studies in Kunszentmiklós and Pápa and he graduated from the Pápa Theological Seminary. He continued his studies in Leipzig. It was during his years in Pápa that he came to decide to become a pastor and not a teacher. Besides formal documents, memories and family letters are used by the author, the daughter of the pastor, to outline how personal growth was being shaped in the process of opting for a profession.
