3-4. szám - Műhely - Köblös József: Még egyszer az Adásztevelen működő „Pápai Árva Oskoláról"
Műhely The elementary school students of Adásztevel learned the basics of writing in their own school but many of them learned reading in the lector group of the grammar school of Pápa. The number of those students in upper classes coming from Adásztevel exceeded the number of students from Pápa and elsewhere. Legally the Pápa school was independent from the Adásztevel school, yet people in Adásztevel saw the schools as one institution and the rector of the Adásztevel school was considered as the leader of the Pápa school. Praeceptor Mihály Nagy, who instructed students in the separate building, was thought to be under his supervision. So they saw the Pápa school as their own. But among Transdanubian calvinists it was commonly thought, though it was only later legally declared, that the Pápa College was the mother school of the Transdanubian District and the college, even if it was incomplete, would continue to work in Adásztevel. That is why that after completing their elementary studies, students from the District were glad to attend the grammar school of Adásztevel. 132 Acta Papensia IV (2004) 3-4.
