Demographical analysis We found 73 women and 73 men among the 254 individuals examined, so the ratio of sexes could be well balanced within this historical population (Table 4). When reviewing the detailed mortality table of the population (Table 5) we could state that from the aspect of survival childhood was the most riskful period. The value of infants had to be corrected because their bones completely vanished in the past centuries (Table 6).
