Papp, J.: Eleven new Eubazus Nees species from the Neotropical region (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Brachistinae)
wide, temple beyond eye 1.3 times as wide as eye. Clypeus 1.75 times as wide as high, its lower margin medially weakly convex and laterally weakly concave (Fig. 13). Head polished. Mesosoma in lateral view 1.4 times as long as high. Precoxal suture missing. Notaulix evenly deep, cenulate. Propodeum less clearly areolate, areolae along carinae more or less rugulose (Fig. 14). Hind femur thin, five times as long as broad distally (Fig. 15). Claw with basally broadening lobe (Fig. 16). Fore wing somewhat longer than body. Pterostigma (Fig. 17) 3.3 times as long as wide and issuing r distally from its middle, r 0.6 times as long as width of pterostigma, 2-SR almost twice as long as r, S-SR-SR1 bent and ending before tip of wing, 1-R1 somewhat longer than pterostigma, 2-R1 reaching tip of wing. First discal cell: 1-M bent and just longer than 1-SR-M, latter vein S-form, m-cu somewhat shorter than half length of 1-M, cu-a almost as long as 1-CU1 (Fig. 18). Hind wing: subbasal cell relatively less wide and cu-a faintly bent (Fig. 19, arrow indicating cu-a). First tergite (Fig. 20) broader behind than long, strongly broadening posteriorly, pair of converging keels merging medially into rather longitudinal weak strio-rugosity. Tergites 2-3 fused (border between them hardly distinct) and a bit shorter than length of first tergite, together with further tergites polished. Ovipositor sheath long, twice as long as hind tibia or two-thirds length of body. Ovipositor posteriorly S-form and pointed (Fig. 21). Antenna, head, mesosoma and first tergite black, metasoma and mandible dark brown. Tegula blackish, parategula brown. Palpi brown. Coxae 1-2 dark brown, coxa 3 blackish; legs rusty brown, hind tibia yellowish brown, tarsi blackish fumous. Wings hyaline, pterostigma and veins brown. Description of the three female paratypes from Argentina - Similar to the female holotype. Body 2.6 (2 $ $) and 2.7 (1 2) mm long. Antenna with 27 (2 2 2) and 28 (1 $) antennomeres (antennae partly damaged). Penultimate flagellomere a bit (1 2)to 1.4times(l 9) longer than broad. Hind Figs 11-23. Eubazus atricoxa sp.n.: 11 = flagellomeres 1-3, 12 = head of female in dorsal view, 13 = clypeus, 14 = propodeum, 15 = hind femur, 16 = claw, 17 = distal part of right fore wing, 18 = first discal and first subdiscal cells of fore wing, 19 = subbasal cell of hind wing, 20 = tergites 1-3, 21 = posterior end ovipositor, 22 = head of male in dorsal view, 23 = first tergite of male
