gins. Scape without radicle 5.5 times as long as broad, 0.7 times as long as eye height; combined length of pedicel and flagellum 0.76 times as long as breadth of head; pedicel 2.4 times as long as broad, very slightly shorter than 1st funicular segment, which 2.25 times as long as broad, 1.2 times as long as second. The latter about 1.77 times as long as broad, third funicular segment 1.2 times as long as broad; clava two-segmented, twice as long as broad. Thorax (without propodeum) 1.3 times as long as broad. Pronotal collar weakly margined by poor pronotal carina. Mesoscutum 1.9 times as broad as long, the parapsidal grooves unclear; scutellum slightly longer than broad, 1.2 times as long as mesoscutum. Axillae with one seta each. Melanotal dorsellum triangular. Propodeum flat, almost smooth, median carina narrow, slightly raised, with narrow channels on either sides. Propodeal calli with 1 long and about 10 shorter setae each. Spiracular elevations of propodeum robust, triangular in shape. Trace of lateral propodeal sulcus incomplete, represented by row of meshes only along supracoxal flange. Supracoxal flange narrow. Fore femur 3.44, mid femur 4.26, hind femur 3 times as long as broad; fore tibia about 7.77, mid tibia 9, hind tibia 7.2 times as long as broad; mid and hind tibiae haired with dense short setae. Fore tarsi in ratio 5/5/5/9, mid tarsi in ratio 9/9/7/8, hind tarsi in ratio 7/7/6/9. Spur of fore tibia short, spur of mid tibia 1.6 times as long as breadth of tibia, spur of hind tibia 0.4 times as long as breadth of tibia. Fore tibia with protruding apical spine. Fore wing twice as long as broad, costal cell bare, 8 times as long as broad, submarginal vein with 2 setae on its dorsal surface before "break", where it meets parastigma; marginal vein 0.9 costal cell, postmarginal vein 0.6 as long as stigmal, the latter subtrangular in shape, with short uncus; speculum open below; fringe of apical margin slightly shorter, than thickness of marginal vein at its broadest part (place of contact with parastigma). Gastral petiole transverse, reduced to a narrow band. Gaster ovate, 1.54 times as long as broad. First tergite haired with 2-3 setae on sides. Description of male. Length 2.6 mm. Differs from female in the following. Dark colouration covers slightly more than 1/2 length of mid tibia and about 1/3 length of hind tibia. Antenna! scape without radicle slightly more than 3 times as long as broad in lateral view, 4.75 times as long as broad in dorsal view, 0.63 times as long as eye height; combined length of pedicel and flagellum 0.83 times as long as breadth of head; pedicel twice as long as broad, slightly shorter than 1st funicular segment. The latter 2.3 times as long as broad, slightly longer than second. Second and third funicular segments about 1.6-1.7 times as long as broad; clava two-segmented, 2.4 times as long as broad. Gaster 1.28 times as long as broad. Discussion. This species resembles E. (E.) parvicalcar, E. (E.) levadae and E. (E.) calvescentitus, but differs from the first two species in having mid tibiae more broadly darkened than hind ones, and from the latter species - in having shorter funicular segments and combined length of pedicel and flagellum 0.76 times as long as breadth of head in female (0.63 times in E. (E.) calvescentitus). Mid tibial colouration in E. (E.) angorensis also reminds of E. (E.) intumescens, but this species is much bigger (up to 4.4 mm), has hind tibia more broadly darkened (about 2/3-1/4 of hind tibia dark), difference between mid and hind tibial infumation not so noticeable, POL 1.4-1.5 OOL (2.66 in E. (E.) angorensis), and also differs in antennái and propodeal structure. Distribution. Turkey (Ankara).
