(sizk); 9 bb, 2 aa (IDENTIFIED AS e. occidenlalis Girault by M. E. Schauff), USA, Montana, Wheatland Co. Deadman's Basin St. Ree. Area, 3.600', 5.VI. 1982, G. GIBSON; 2 ??, USA, Jefferson, Colorado, 9400'. 14-VII-61 , S. M. CLARK (CNC). Redescription of female. Length 3.0-3.8 mm. Head and thorax dark or dark green, propodeum brighter (Fig. 1). Distal tips of femora, proximal and distal 1/7-1/9 of mid tibia, dark; distal 1/5-1/6 of hind tibiae, inner and outer surfaces of fore tibia, light. Sometimes (2 females and 4 males among Mongolian specimens) mid tibia with one complete outer light stripe. First three tarsi of mid and hind legs lithter than last ones. Border between light and dark of tibiae washed out. Antennae dark brown with hardly discernible green metallic tint on scape and pedicel. Wings hyaline, venation of wings light-brown. Obval membranous area adjacent to the petiolar emargination at first gastral tergite white. Head in dorsal view 2.40-2.44 times as broad as long; ocelli of moderate size; POL 1.87-2.2 OOL. Shape of occipital margin varies from sharp carinated with small lateral "peaks" to blunt, poorly carinated. Hind ocelli separated by distance 1.4—2.0 times as long as their own major diameter from eye and by 3/4-4/5 of their major diameter from occipital margin. Eyes moderately pubescent, eye height 3.6^4.0 limes as long as malar space. Head in frontal view (Fig. 2) 1.28-1.39 times as broad as high. Frontal fork absent, just smooth bifurcation at the top of short smooth interscrobe present. Face homogeneously reticulated, clypeal surface smooth or alutaccous. Inlercocular distance 3 times as broad as eye width. Face with two rows of short regular setae stretching along eye orbits. Breadth of oral fossa about 4—5 times as long as malar space, about twice as long as produced anterior margin of clypeus, the latter reflexed, delimited by quite deep marginal groove. Antennae (Fig. 3) inserted at a distance as long as diameter of antennái toruli above level of ventral eye margins. Scape 5.0-6.25 times as long as broad, about 0.7 times as long as eye height, its frontal margin with 1-2 rows of short setae; combined length of pedicel and flagellum 0.7-0.8 times as long as breadth of head; pedicel 1.77-2.0 times as long as broad, 0.40-0.75 times as long as 1st funicular segment. Antennái segments very variable in shape: first funicular segment 1.83-5.0 times as long as broad, 1.1-1.39 times as long as second, the latter 1.6-3.6 times as long as broad, third 1.2-1.8 times as long as broad, clava 1.66-3.25 times as long as broad. Thorax (without propodeum) 1.1-1.2 times as long as broad. Pronotal collar more or less margined, with or without pronotal carina. Mesoscutum slightly more than twice as broad as long, the parapsidal grooves invisible; scutcllum as long as or slightly longer than broad, 1.2-1.45 times as long as mesoscutum. Axillae with one very short seta Mctanotal dorsellum small, semi-circular in shape, finely reticulated, with about 10-15 meshes. Propodeal calli with 1 long and 6-10 shorter setae. Propodeum Hat, smooth or with alutaceous sculpture; median carina slightly raised, weakly diverging in its apical part, channels on its sides wide, sometimes quite deep, weakly margined, their surface sometimes (holotype of E. erdoesianus) reticulated. Spiracular elevations of propodeum robust, triangular in shape, their tips sometimes (holotype of E. erdoesianus) truncate. Trace of lateral propodeal sulcus mostly shallow, but sometimes complete, deep, but delimited only at its inner side by lateral plicate border of submedian areas, at outer side fused with spiracle border and supracoxal Hange; supracoxal flange narrow. Fore femur nearly 2.7-3.88, mid femur 3.6-3.7, hind femur 2.8-3.0 times as long as broad; fore tibia 6.4-7, mid tibia 7-9, hind tibia 6.4—7 times as long as broad. Fore tarsi in ratio: 5/6/5/10, mid tarsi in ratio: 10/8/6/9, hind tarsi in ratio: 9/7/6/12. Spur of fore tibia very short, spur of mid tibia 1.8 times as long as breadth of its tibia, spur of hind tibia 0.7-0.8 times as long as breadth of its tibia, 0.7-0.8 times as long as hind basitarsus. Fore tibia with a portruding apical spine. Fore wing twice as long as broad, costal cell bare, 6.3-6.6 times as long as broad, submarginal vein with 2 or 3 setae on its dorsal surface before its "break", where it meets parastigma; marginal vein 0.8-0.9 times as long as costal cell, postmarginal vein as long as or longer (1.27-1.4 times)
