Revision of the cyanellus species group. - Annls. hist. nat. Mus. natn. hung. 91: 141-176. Abstract - Species of the cyanellus group of the subgenus Entedon (in the genus Entedon) are revised. 11 species are recognized for the group and 4 of these are described as new: E. (E.) angorensis sp. n. from Turkey, E. (E.) jozsefi sp. n., E. (E.) marusiki sp. n. from Hungary, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Siberia (Russia) and E. E.) levadae sp. n. from Far East Russia. E. (E.) jozsefi sp. n. described from male paralectotype of E. nubilatus ERDŐS, 1944. Redescribed species E. (E.) biroi ERDŐS, E. (E.) calvescentitus SzELÉNYï, E. (E.) cyanellus DALMAN, E. (E.) ductus SZELÉNYI, E. (E.) intumescens SZELÉNYI, E. (E.) pallicrus ERDŐS, E. (E.) parvicalcar THOMSON. All species are presented in a key. Five new synonymies are established: E. astragali ERDŐS, 1951, E. erdoesianus SZELÉNYI, 1961, E. nubilatus ERDŐS, 1944, E. subimpressus THOMSON, 1878 = E. (E.) cyanellus DALMAN, 1820, E. subovatus THOMSON, 1878 = E. (E.) parvicalcar THOMSON, 1878. Diagnostic characters for this species group, the intraspecific variations, possible way of origin, relationships with alike species from other species groups are discussed and characters used for taxonomic purposes are evaluated. Keys to both males and females arc proposed. New geographic records for Old and New World are given. With 21 figures. INTRODUCTION Infrageneric partitioning of chalcid wasps of the genus Entedon DALMAN, 1820 (Hymenoptera, Eulophidae, Entedoninae) on a world scale was revised earlier by GUMOVSKY (1997). It was proposed to divide the genus into two subgenera: Entedon s. str. and Cederholmia GUMOVSKY, 1997. The latter subgenus is known only from two species from Africa. The subgenus Entedon comprises eight groups: squamosus, cioni, hercyna, cyanellus, costalis, sparetus, crassiscapus and kertészi (GUMOVSKY 1997). The species group cyanellus was proposed by GRAHAM (1963) for the association of Entedon cyanellus DALMAN, E. pallicrus ERDŐS, E. metatarsalis THOMSON, E. subovatus THOMSON and E. parvicalcar THOMSON. Later (GRAHAM 1971) concept and contents of the group was revised, and the group was proposed to include Entedon cyanellus DALMAN, E. subimpressus THOMSON, E. pallicrus ERDŐS, E. subovatus THOMSON, E. parvi-
