Tergites 1-3 largely sculptured: first tergite behind, second tergite entirely and third tergite basally rugo-rugulose, first tergite twice as long as broad behind (Fig. 134). Temple in dorsal view somewhat more receded (Fig. 130). 4-SR distinctly twice as long as 3-SR and approaching tip of wing (Fig. 131). Hind femur broadest basally (Fig. 133). Pterostigma opaque yellow (Fig. 131). Ç: 13-14 mm S. virgulatus sp. n. 2(1) Reddish yellow tergites 1-5 without dark transverse streaks. Tergites 1-3 largely smooth, scutum of first tergite behind and second tergite around medio-basal field with short and rather longitudinal rugulosity, first tergite 1.2-1.4 times as long as broad behind (Fig. 20 in CtiiSHTl & QuiCKE 1996: 233). Currently seven Stenobracon species are registered worldwide, they are listed below: brevis CHISHTI et QuiCKE, 1996 - Cambodia, Laos. Philippines clarus CniSHTl et QUICKE, 1996 - Australia, Papua New Guinea deesae (CAMERON, 1902) (Bracon) - Pakistan, India, Malaysia malensis CHISHTI et QuiCKE, 1996 - Burma, Malaysia, Indonesia nicevillei (BINGHAM, 1901 ) (Bracon) - India, Nepal, Sri Lanka oculatus SZEPLIGETI, 1901 - India, Laos, Malaysia, Taiwan, Philippines, Indonesia virgulatus sp. n. - Laos Acknowledgements - My sincere thank should go to the curators of five museums who kindly assisted me with a long-term loan of braconid type and authentic material promoting my taxonomic work. They are as follows: Dr. T. HuTLEJT (Zoological Institute and Museum, Warshaw), Mrs KLEINE-MÖLLHOFF and Dr. F. KOCH (Museum für Naturkunde, Berlin), Mrs S. LEWIS (The Natural History Museum. London), Dr. A. TAEGER (Deutsches Entomologisches Institut, Eberswalde) and Dr. C.
