Euconnus rattanae sp. n. (Fig. 16) Holotype d Suriname: Palumeu, 30.III.1996, MAKHAN (only the holotype). Description (holotype d). Colour of head, pronotum, elytra and legs brown. Total length 2.20 mm, width 0.95 mm. Head about as long as wide, with brown setae, also on the area between the eyes and the clypeus. Eyes large and with coarse facets. Antennae brown, with brown setae, with a five-segmented club, 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th antennái segments are wider than long, 10th elongate, 10th is as long as the 7th + 8th. Pronotum longer than wide, widest at the middle with brown setae, depressions absent. Elytra oval, widest at the middle, with brown setae, depressions absent. Scutellum absent. Legs simple, femur swollen and with brown setae. Male genitalia (Fig. 16): páraméra with three setae and median lobe with sclerites. Etymology. This species is named after my wife RATTAN. Euconnus dewnaraini sp. n. (Fig. 17) Holotype d Suriname: Kasikasima, 29.III. 1996, MAKHAN (only the holotype). Description (holotype d ). Colour of head, pronotum, elytra and legs brown. Total length 1.50 mm, width 0.65 mm. Head about as long as wide, with brown setae, also on the area between the eyes and the clypeus. Eyes large and with coarse facets. Antennae brown, with brown setae, with a Figs 15-17. Male genitalia of holotypes. 15 = Euconnus deepaki sp. n.; 16 = E. rattanae sp. n.; 17 = E. dewnaraini sp. n. (scale = 0.25 mm)
