The biggest part of the archaeological material from the prehistoric settlement of Balatonederics could be dated to the Late Copper Age, to the end of the 3 r , beginning of the 2 nd millennium BC. The Early Bronze Age is represented by some sporadic pot fragments as well. Further to SW, in the boundary of Balatongyörök another settlement was found from the Early Bronze Age. From Balatongyörök we know archaeological material dated to the Middle Bronze Age, the urn-field cemetery of the incrusted ceramic of Transdanubia too. Fig. 2.
