KEY TO PARALYCAEIDES SPECIES (1) Genders DW rufous brown, VHW with luminous white intercellular spots, marginal area with large black antemarginal spots; male genitalia with bulbous uncus, female genitalia showing a strongly sclerotized hook in lateral view P. shade BÁLINT, 1993 - Genders DW brown, VFW basal and subbasal area grey or brown with indistinct antemar­ginal spots; male genitalia with pointed uncus, female genitalia hooked in lateral view but not so heavily sclerotized (vapa-Group) (2) (2) VFW basal and subbasal area grey, VHW pattern pale, indistinct and covered by silvery scales, fringes delicately chequered; male genitalia with pointed uncus, aedeagus with large large proximal tabs of suprazonal element, female genitalia with heavily sclerotized two times longer than wide P. inconspicua (DRAUDT, 1921) - VFW basal and subbsal area lighter brown, VHW with prominent silvery intercellular pattern, fringes chequered, male genital aedeagus with narrower suprazonal proximal tabs (3) (3) FW with relatively long outer margin, prominently chequered, male genital aedeagus with three times longer suprazonal element than subzonal one, valval rostellum very large P. vapa (STAUDINGER, 1894) - FW with shorter outer margin, not so prominently chequered, male genital aedeagus four times longer than subzonal element, valval rostellum long and slender P. hazelea sp. n. * * * Acknowledgements - For access to material examined we thank the following curators and workers: DR.
