Hydrochus chitaniei sp. n. (Fig. 17) Holotype: male. New Guinea, E. of River Tor, 4 km of Hol Maffen, 2-5.VI 1.1959, T. C MAA (Bishop Mus.). -Paratype: 1 male (same data as holotype) (Mus. Budapest). Description (holotype male): Body elongate, length 2.8 mm, width 1.1 mm. Dorsal side shining. Colour of head black, colour of pronotum, scutellum and elytra brown, with a blue-green metallic gloss. Head with sparsely fine punctures. Pronotum longer than wide, lateral side smooth. Disc with five large deep depressions. Anterior margin of pronotum with three depressions, one at the centre, two behind this. Posterior margin with two depressions. Elytral length 1.7 mm, elytra widest om posterior third, lateral side smooth, striai punctures coarse, wider than interstriae, interstriae 2nd, 4th and 6th carinate, in almost whole length. Apical holes absent. Elytral apices rounded. Male genitalia (Fig. 17): Basal piece long, páraméra longer than median lobe. Etymology: This species is named after my nephew RAMOND ISELAM CHITANIE. Hydrochus imamkhani sp. n. (Fig. 18) Holotype: male. New Guinea, SE Weam, 9 m, 18.VI. 1964, H. CLISSOLD (only the holotype) (Bishop Mus.). Description (holotype male): Body elongate, length 4.3 mm, width 1.6 mm. Dorsal side shining. Colour of head black, colour of pronotum, scutellum and elytra brown with a blue-green metallic gloss. Head with densely fine punctures. Pronotum longer than wide, lateral side smooth. Disc with five large deep depressions. Anterior margin of pronotum with three depressions, one at the centre, two behind this. Elytral length 2.7 mm, elytra widest on posterior third, lateral side smooth, striai punctures wider than interstriae, tubercle absent, 3rd, 5th and 8th interstriae carinate in almost whole length. Apical holes absent. Elytral apices rounded. Male genitalia (Fig. 18): Basal piece long, median lobe longer than páraméra. Etymology: This species is named after my nephew RAMON RAMDJANKHAN IMAMKHAN. This species is similar to H. rodjani sp. n., but there is a difference in the shape of male genitalia: páraméra in H. imamkhani short, páraméra in H. rodjani long. Hydrochus rodjani sp. n. (Fig. 19) Holotype: male. New Guinea, Papua, Brown River, 21.5.1956, E. J. FORD (Bishop Mus.). - Paratype: 1 male (same data as holotype) (Mus. Budapest). Description (holotype male): Body elongate, length 2.8 mm, width 1.0 mm. Dorsal side shining. Colour of head, pronotum, scutellum and elytra black and with a blue-green metallic gloss. Head with dense, fine punctures. Pronotum longer than wide, lateral side smooth. On disc with five large shallow depressions. Anterior margin of pronotum with three depressions, one in the centre, two behind this. Posterior margin with two depressions. Elytral length 1.8 mm, elytra widest on posterior third, lateral side smooth, striai punctures, wider than interstriae, tubercle absent, 5th and 8th interstriae carinate in almost whole length. Elytra with about 30 large black spots. Apical holes absent. Elytral apices rounded. Male genitalia (Fig. 19): Basal piece longer than páraméra, median lobe longer than páraméra. Etymology: The species is named after my nephew KRISHNAKUMAR RODJAN. Hydrochus nadesui sp. n. (Fig. 20) Holotype: male. Australia, Northern Terr., Katherine, 19-20.IN. 1971, J.& M. SEDLACEK (Bishop Mus.). Paratype: 1 female (same data as holotype) (Mus. Budapest).
