Differt a Sabaudo foliis amplexicaulibus, crebro denticulatis, denticulis cilia alba longa emittentibus". In JÁVORKA (1929: 180): "virosum Pall. ssp. foliosum W. et K.". On the author's label: "Hieracium virosum Pali. var. foliosum (W et K.). Leaves ovate-triangular, denticulate, with few rigid simple eglandular hairs particularly on the apex of denticles. 30. 01. 1992. D. Kováts". Hieracium lanatum W. et K. - Icon. PI. Rar. II. 1802: 135, tab. 127. - apud WiLLD. Spec. pl. III. 3. 1804: 1586, non Vill. in JÁVORKA (1929: 181). 3 sheets: XXVI. No. 239, 280, 315. One of them is H waldsteinii TAUSCH., the other one in H. gymnocephalum GRISEB. subsp. anastrum D. et Z., the third one is mixed H. waldsteinii + H. gymnocephalum according to JÁVORKA (1929: 181). The valid name is H. waldsteinii TAUSCH. according to JÁVORKA (1957: 156). This is a VILLARS' species, Hieracium lanatum VILL. (1779) belongs to H. lanatum group according to TUTIN et al. (1976: 388) The specimen on the sheet XXVI. No. 239, which was designated as the lectotype, consists of a leafy branched broken stem with two flower-heads, one of them with flowers the other one with achenes. On KITAIBEL'S label: "Hieracium lanatum ex alp. Velebich." On JÁVORKA'S label: "H. Waldsteinii Tausch, revid. Jáv.". * Hieracium pallescens W. et K. - Icon. PI. Rar. III. 1806: 241, tab. 217. - 4 sheets: XXVI. No. 172a, 287, 336, 343. This is valid name according to JÁVORKA (1957: 156), TUTIN et al. (1976: 377), DOSTÁL (1989: 1143). The specimens on the double sheet XXVI. No. 172a, which was designated as the lectotype, consist of a leafy plant with flower-heads, three upper part of stems with flower-heads (flowers and achenes), one small stem with flower-head, two separate flower-heads and separate leaves. On KITAIBEL'S label: "Hieracium pallescens vel petraeum mihi E Croatia in hortum inductum." * Hieracium racemosum W. et K. - Icon. PI. Rar. II. 1804: 211, tab. 193. - 1 sheet: XXVI. No. 245. This is the valid name according to JÁVORKA (1957: 156), Soó (1970: 285-286,1980: 442), TUTIN et al. (1976: 407), PRISZTER (1985: 204), DOSTÁL (1989:1158). The specimens on this only sheet XXVI. No. 245 there is only one leaf. On KITAIBEL'S label: "Hieracium racemosum Ex horto". In JÁVORKA (1929: 183): "csak egyetlen levél van belőle - adest tantum folium unicum." * Hieracium ramosum W. et K. - Icon. PI. Rar. III. 1806: 240, tab. 216. - apud WiLLD. Spec. pl. III. 3. 1804: 1579. in JÁVORKA (1929: 183) 2 sheets: XXVI. No. 188, 268, an another sheet: XXVI. No. 184, under the name of //. sylvaticum according to JÁVORKA (1929: 183, 185). Hieracium ramosum W. et K. is valid name according to JÁVORKA (1957:156), Soó (1970: 277,1980: 441), TUTIN et al. (1976: 378-379), PRISZTER (1985: 203), DOSTÁL (1989: 1144). The specimens on the sheet XXVI. No. 268, which was designated as the lectotype, consist of two upper parts of leafy stems with flower-heads (flowers and achenes) and separate leaves and fragments. On KITAIBEL'S label: "Hieracium ramosum". * Hieracium stoloniflorum W et K. - Icon. PI. Rar. III. 1812: 304, tab. 273. - 1 sheet: XXVI. No. 133. This species "= H. stoloniferum apud STEUD. Nomencl. p. 766; bicolor v. discolor KIT Addit. p. 113. no 514" according to JÁVORKA (1929: 185,1957: 156). This is a hybrid species of//, aurantiacum x H. pilosella according to UECHTRITZ, in JáVORKA (1929: 185). The valid name is Hieracium x stoloniferum W. et K. according to TUTIN et al. (1976: 375). The specimens on this original sheet XXVI. No. 133, which is the type, consist of a leafy stem with flower-heads, fragments of leafy stems, leaves and flower-heads. On KITAIBEL'S label: "Hieracium stoloniflorum bicolor v. discolor". One other label: "Certissime idem, ac H. stoloniflorum a montanum Fries, H. stoloniflorum Wimmer Fl. v. Schleisien nec hybridum. H. aurantiacum x Pilosella omnino alia est planta! Uechtritz". Hypericum alpinum W. et K. - Icon. PI. Rar. III. 1810: 294, tab. 265. - non Vill. in JÁVORKA (1929: 189). 1 sheet: LIII. No. 159. This is H. alpigenum KIT and it is the valid name too, according to JÁVORKA (1929: 189. 1957: 156). The valid synonym name of the two names is Hypericum richeri VILL. subsp. grisebachii (Boiss.) NYMAN (1878) according to TUTIN et al. (1968: 267). The specimens on this one original sheet LIII. No. 159, which is the type, consist of seven leafy stems, three of them with flowers and two separate inflorescences. On KITAIBEL'S label: "Ex alp. Beregh Hypericum alpinum v. alpigenum". On the author's label: "Hypericum richeri Vill. subsp. grisebachii (Boiss.) Nyman. Leaves ovate-lanceolate, petals with glandular hairs on the margines, glandular hairs with black heads. 30. 01. 1992. D. Kováts".
