There are 280 taxa described and painted in WALDSTEIN'S and KITAIBEL'S Icones (1799-1801, 1802-1812), among them there are 223 WALDSTEIN and KITAIBEL species. From the 223 WALDSTEIN and KITAIBEL species specimens of 214 taxa are deposited in the Herbarium Kitaibelianum in Budapest (from the material of the Icones 9 taxa are missing). In Prague specimens of 135 taxa from the 223 WALDSTEIN and KITAIBEL species are deposited in the WALDSTEIN'S Collection (88 missing taxa). From the specimens of all these 135 taxa lectotypes were selected by CHRTEK & SKOCDOPOLOVÁ (1982), but among these species there were 4 WALDSTEIN and KITAIBEL types, which had already been designated as types by KOVÁTS from the Herbarium Kitaibelianum in Budapest (1975). Six WALDSTEIN and KITAIBEL taxa are absent from both herbaria, they are: Allium fiiscum W. et K, Sedum spathulatum W. et K, Rosa reversa W. et K. - "deest: adest in herbarium Willdenowiano", according to JÁVORKA (1935: 100) - Trifolium reclinatum W.
