Subfamily Cheloninae (Chelonini) Microchelonus incrassus sp. n. 9 â (Figs 12-17) Description of the holotype 9 - Body 3.6 mm long. Head in dorsal view (Fig. 12) transverse, 2.1 times as broad as long, eye 1.3 times as long as temple, latter rounded, occiput excavated. Ocelli medium sized, elliptic in form and near to each other, distance between fore and a hind ocelli shorter than largest diameter of an ocellus; hind imaginary tangent to fore ocellus touching hind pair of ocelli; OOL 1.7 times as long as POL. Eye in lateral view twice as high as wide, temple ventrally broadening and at its broadest part 1.3 times as wide as eye. Face twice as wide as high, inner margin of eyes just diverging ventrally. Clypeus also twice as wide below as high medially, its lower margin almost evenly convex. Malar space somewhat longer than basal width of mandible. Head strigulate and shiny; face and frons more or less concentrically rugulose-strigulate around pair of toruli, occiput transversely and temple longitudinally strigulate with anastomoses. Clypeus shiny with dense subpunctation, interspaces about as large as punctures. - Antenna as long as head, mesosoma and half carapace, with 16 antennomeres. First flagellomere four times as long as broad, further flagellomeres gradually shortening, flagellomeres 6-11 slightly thickening, eleventh flagellomere 1.6 times and thirteenth (or penultimate) flagellomere 1.8 times as long as broad. Mesosoma in lateral view 1.37 times as long as high. Notaulix just indicated by a shallow furrow like in M. fenestracus. Mesosoma rugose to roughly rugose, scutellum rugulose; propodeum with four tubercules on medio-transverse carina, lateral pair of tubercules somewhat stronger. - Hind femur 3.28 times as long as broad at its middle. Hind tibia thickened distally, 4.5 times as broad as long, basitarsus three times as long as second tarsal segment and as long as tarsal segments 2-4. Pair of spurs of hind tibia subequal in length, inner spur somewhat longer than half basitarsus. Fore wing three-fourths as long as body. Pterostigma (Fig. 13) wide, 2.5 times as long as wide, issuing radial vein from its middle; rl nearly perpendicular to fore margin of pterostigma, slightly longer than half width of pterostigma and clearly twice as long as r2, r3 straight, cuqul 3.5 times as long as r2. Length of radial cell along metacarp one-fifth shorter than pterostigma (or pterostigma 1.26 times as long as metacarp). N. rec. antefurcai, d2 three times as long as dl. Carapace just longer than mesosoma, in dorsal view (Fig. 14) 1.8 times as long as broad at its hind third, i.e. somewhat broadening posteriorly; in lateral view (Fig. 15) 2.6 times as long as high behind; in ventral view cavity almost as long as carapace itself, i.e. carapace apically hardly incurved (Fig. 16). Carapace almost evenly rugose. In lateral view ovipositor sheath as long as hind basitarsus. Ground colour of body black. Basal third of carapace straw yellow, surface between two short keels black. Palpi pale yellow. Scape and pedicel brownish yellowish, flagellomeres l-4(-5) dirty yellowish, further flagellomeres blackish to black. Tegula blackish, parategula brownish. Legs 1-2 brownish with yellowish pattern, third coxa and femur black. Trochanters yellow, trochantellus yellowish to brownish. Hind tibia pale yellow, with a basal black ring and its distal third fully black. Tarsi pale yellow, fifth tarsal segments blackish. Wings hyaline, pterostigma opaque brown, veins basally yellowish, distally light brownish. Description of the female paratypes (5 9 9) - Similar to the holotype. Body 3.4-4 mm long. Flagellum of three females slightly more thickened, first flagellomere 3.7-3.8 times and penultimate flagellomere 1.6 times as long as broad. Hind femur 3-3.4 times as long as broad. Pterostigma 2.18-2.5 times as long as wide (2.18: 1 9, 2.2: 1 9, 2.35: 1 9, 2.5: 2 9 9). Ratio of pterostigmal length and length of radial cell along metacarp 1.151.39 (1.155:1 9,1.29:2 9 9,1.3:1 9,1.39:1 9). Carapace in dorsal view 1.6-1.8 times as long as broad (1.6: 1 9,1.7:2 9 9,1.78:1 9, 1.8: 19). Straw yellow colour of carapace restricted to its basal fourth (1 9) or to basal side laterally from keels (1 9). Description of the male paratypes (6 â 6) - Similar to female. Body 3.7-4 mm long (3.7: 1 6, 3.8: 1 6, 3.9: 1 6, 4: 3 6 6). Ocelli large, distance between fore and a hind ocelli shorter than greatest diameter of an ocellus, hind imaginary tangent of fore ocellus transecting hind pair of ocelli.
