Note: (1) Previously synonymized with Bracon niceviclli BINGHAM but no statement about that is being made here. (2) Other paralectotypes are in the National Natuurhistorisch Museum, Leiden (VAN ACHTERBERG 1974). Vipio paraguayensLs SZÉPLIGETI, 1906: 157. - Type material: Holotype female, No. 832. - Condition: Fair. - Identity: Isomecus paraguayensis comb. n. Vipio persica SZÉPLIGETI, 1901: 359. - Type material: Lectotype female (desig. PAPP 1967); No. 840. Condition: Fair. - Identity: Isomecus persica comb. n. Notes: (1) This species was treated as a variety of Vipio terrefactor (VILLERS) by SZÉPLIGETI (1904), but no comment on synonymy is being made here. (2) Although this specimen bears a lectotype label there is no indication that the species is based upon more than one type specimen and I could find no topotypic specimens.
