Yelicones conctractus sp. n.: 49 = head and mesonotum in dorsal view with indication of sculpture, 50 = tergites 1-2 with indication of sculpture of first tergite, 51 = distal part of right fore wing, 52 = discoidal vein. - Fig. 53. Yelicones maculatus PAPP: head and mesonotum in dorsal view with indication of sculpture. - Fig. 54. Yelicones paradoxus (FISCHER): discoidal vein. - Figs 55-56. Yelicones luridus sp. n.: 55 = discoidal vein with meeting of n. rec. and n par., 56 = mediella with postnervellus. - Figs 57-58. lfelicones koreanus PAPP: 57 = discoidal vein with meeting of n. rec. and n. par., 58 = mediella with postnervellus The new species, Yelicones contractus sp. n., seems nearest to Y paradoxus (FISCHER, 1961) 5 (Papua New Guinea) viewing the venation (pterostigma, radial call, second cubital cell, discoidal vein) of their fore wings (Abb. 3 in FISCHER 1961: 155 and Fig. 54); the specific distinction of the two forms restricts to a few but clearcut features: Y contractus sp. n. 1. Temple in dorsal view constricted and one-third as long as eye (Fig. 49). 2. Antenna with 27 flagellomeres. 3. First tergite 1.48 times as long asbroad at hind, up to spircles distinctly and beyond spiracles moderately broadening posteriorly (Fig. 50). 4. Tergites 2-7 polished. 5. Vein d of fore wing straight, d2 four times as long as dl (Fig. 52). Y paradoxus FISCHER 1. Temple in dorsal view rounded and half as long as eye. 2. Antenna with 39 flagellomeres. 3. First tergite just longer than broad at hind, evenly broadening posteriorly. 4. Tergites 2-7 with fine punctation. 5. Vein d of fore wing sinuate, d2 three times as long as dl (Fig. 54 after FISCHER 1961:155). I know only the original description (FISCHER 1961) of this species.
