Whole dorsum dark reddish-brown or black, antennae testaceous with segments 9 and 10 darker; punctures superficial and sparse on head and pronotum, elytra with punctures more than twice the diameter of those on head, separated from each other by 3-5 times their own diameter; microreticulation uniform and superficial on head, more superficial on pronotum; 3rd/2nd=1.5; clypeal line very superficial, hardly evident; pronotum 1.5 times as broad as head, moderately transverse and convex, anterior margin scarcely curved, lateral outline much broadly rounded; elytra a little broader than pronotum, little broader than long, not very convex; suturai striae superficial, within the apical third; hind wings present; male hind femora with distal tooth; tarsal formula cf 5-5-4, g 5-4-4.
