Argaman, Q.: Generic synopsis of Sclerogibbidae (Hymenoptera)

SPECIES INCERTAE SEDIS 1. embiopterae DODD, 1939, from Queensland, Australia. It is sometimes placed either in Sclerogibba or in Probethylus. This species lays eggs on Oligitoma gurneyi FROGGAT. It is still unknown to me and therefore I made no attempt to place it. The species may belong to one of the above genera or to a new genus. Meanwhile, RIEK (1970: 927, Fig. 37. 27. C) figured a male of the "genus near Sclerogibba''' with particular fore-wing, reproduced here for the sake of completeness (Fig. 8), and which is very different from all other known genera. It has some 36-segmented antennae, and Australia seems to reserve surpises concerning Sclerogibbidae. * * * Acknowledgements — The author is grateful to Dr. J.
