Distribution: This is the most widely distributed lagriine species in Australia, ranging from the Kangaroo Island and Mt. Lofty Ranges, South Australia, in a continuous strip to south­eastern Queensland. Scattered localities are known from northern Queensland, too. This is the only species that occurs in Tasmania and the islands of the Bass Strait (Fig. 90). Non-type material examined.
