Merkl, O.: A review of the Australian species of the subtribe Lagriina (Coleoptera, Tenebrionidae: Lagriinae)
Material; acknowledgements A total cf 3493 specimens (types and others) collected in Australia were at my disposal for this study. Specimens belonging to Australian species but collected in New Guinea or other adjacent regions were not taken into account, unless they were types. Label data of primary types are cited completely, unless they were unavailable. The different labels are separated by a vertical line. For the non-type material, the locality, the date of collecting and the name of collector(s) are presented. The number of specimens and the abbreviation of depository are in parentheses following the collecting data. Data of paratypes and paralectotypes are presented in the same way but with the indication of the individual number of the respective sexes. In the case of 6 abundant species, only the localities and the number of specimens kept in the respective depositories are given. The location of material has been indicated in the text by four-letter acronyms; the names of individuals responsible for loans of specimens follow the names of institution in the subsequent list.
