A Fig. 3. Group range of variability of Hungarian palm patterns compared with Kazakhs (A) and Russians (B), the latters taken as zero the negative deviation is a little greater than the positive one and in the whorls and delta index in the contrary, the positive direction is greater than the negative one. The frequency of Hungarian arch patterns deviates from that of Kazakhs to the right (maximum), from Russian to the left (minimum of Hungarian groups). The deviation of the frequency of Hungarian radial loops from the Kazakhs and the Russians have a positive direction almost to the same degree. The deviation of Hungarian palm patterns from the Kazakhs and the Russians is given in Fig. 3. As the graph shows, the Hungarians deviate from Kazakhs to the right (+) in the frequency of the hypothenar pattern and that of interdigital pad III. The positive and negative deviations of the thenar/I and the frequency of the pattern of interdigital pad II are almost equal. In interdigital pad TV the Hungarians deviate from Kazakhs to the negative side more than to positive (+) one. In the frequency of hypothenar pattern the Hungarians deviate from the Russians (Fig. 3B) more negatively (—) than positively (+). The pattern of the thenar/I and interdigital pad IV is more frequent in Hungarians than in Russians and their minimal and maximal deviations are positive (+). The frequency of the pattern of interdigital pad II and III of Hungarians deviates on the whole also positively from that of the Russians. —The graph of Hungarian deviations from the Kazakhs (Fig. 4A) and the Russians (Fig. 4B) also distinguishes them from other each in the frequency of the carpal axial triradii (t) and the main types of palm A and D lines as in the case of the finger and palm patterns. So, here we see the diametrically opposed directions of the Hungarian deviations from the Kazakhs and Russians in t, D 7 and Dil. More precisely, the frequency of the Hungarian t and D 7 deviates from the Kazakhs to the left (—), from the Russians to the
