Christensen.— Length of hind spur usually one-third to one-fourth as long as hind basitarsus (a feature of the subgenus Aleiodes), however, there are specimens with long spur, i.e. almost as long as half hind basitarsus, a feature relegating the species to the subgenus Neorhogas. This ambiguity provokes a degree of taxonomic uncertainty of this species. —A Palaearctic species. New to the fauna of Greece.
