Szigliget Examination of 88 sectioned nodules from this locality clearly shows that most of them represent two distinct texture types: a coarser-grained type (31%) and a finer grained type (57%). The coarser-grained texture type inclusions generally do not fit in any of the known texture classes but are transitional between the protogranular and porphyroclastic textures of MERCIER & NICOLAS (1975) or between the coarse and porphyroclastic types of HARTE (1977) as well as the allotriomorphic-granular and porphyroclastic textures of NIELSON PIKE & SCHWARZMAN (1977).
