Ancistrogaster uncinata (BORELLI, 1915) (Fig. 10) Praos uncinates BORELLI, 1915, Boll. Musei Zool. Anat. comp. R. Univ. Torino, 30 (Nu. 699): 3. - Holotype male: Museo ed Istituto di Zoológia Sistematica, Torino, holotype without penis. — Ancistrogaster uncinata (BORELLI); HEBARD, Trans. Amer. Ent. Soc, 43: 426. Male general colour reddish brown to black. Head longer than broad, rounded posteriorly; postfrontal and coronal sutures distinct. Pronotum more or less parallel-sided laterally. Tegmina and wings fully developed. Abdomen slightly depressed, sides of tergites 4-7 with lateral spines, but median in size. Ultimate tergite broad, smooth; forceps specific (Fig. 10), inner margins crenulate, apices with specific apical portion. Genitalia unknown. Length of body with forceps: 16,5 mm. Female unknown. Distribution : Mexico. Ancistrogaster significans sp. n. (Figs. 11 — 12) Male general colour dark brownish black, very similar to mendesi MOREIRA in colour, but tegmina and wings with significans yellowish humeral patches. Head depressed; postfrontal and coronal sutures well marked. Eyes comparatively large, slightly longer than the length of head behind eye. Antennae broken in holotype; first joint very long, longer than distance between antennái bases. Pronotum longer than broad; lateral margins narrower posteriorly; last margin rounded; median longitudinal furrow distinct at anterior section. Tegmina and wings fully developed; tegmina truncate posteriorly. Legs slender, femora unicolour, dark brown. Abdomen expanded medially; abdominal tergites 4-7 with specific lateral spines, as in Fig. 11. Ultimate tergite transverse, posterior margin concave medially. Forceps slender, cylindrical; slightly curved at basal section; apical portion with inner tooth, its portion trigonal. Genitalia (Fig. 12) comparatively large; central parameral plate broad, lateral margins of paramere more or less parallel-sided ; virga within genital lobe characteristic, sclerotized vesicle strongly curved basally. External paramere normal, obtuse. Length of body with forceps: 13 mm. Female unknown. Holotype male: Brazil, S. Paulo, Alto da Serra, 30. 9. 26? Dr. S. OHAUS, gen. prep. No. 380, det. Dr. H.
