Notaulix restricted to declivous part of mesonotum. Mesonotal dimple before prescutellar furrow deep and anteriorly somewhat elongated linearly. Sternaulix moderately crenulated. Hind femur 3.5 times longer than broad. Hind tibia and tarsus equal in length. Fore wing as long as body. Stigma (Fig. 19) conspicuously wide, twice longer than wide, issuing radial vein slightly proximally from its middle, rl short, rl only one-fourth longer than cuqul, r3 1.5 times as long as rl and reaching tip of wing. Cui moderately narrowing distally, n. rec. postfurcal. d twice as long as n. rec. B closed. Metasoma in lateral view about as long as thorax together. First tergite (Fig. 20) as long as wide at hind; subquadrate, i.e. its hind width one-third greater than its fore width between keels (see arrows). Hind half of first tergite rugose. Second tergite and fore half of third tergite with longitudinal striation, lateral end of both tergites and hind half of third tergite together with further tergites polished. Ovipositor sheath in lateral view as long as half hind tibia or hind tarsal joints 1-2. Head and thorax reddish yellow, metasoma light brown with blackish suffusion. Apex of mandible blackish. Legs yellow, claws brown. Wings subhyaline. Stigma with brown, venation with brown to brownish yellow pigmentation. rf and host unknown. Locality - Holotype Q : India, Maharashtra province, Matheran, 800 m, 10 July 1902, leg. L. BIRO. Holotype is deposited in the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest; Hym. Typ. No. 5287. The new species runs in FISCHER'S key (1966) to O. (U.J bianchii FULLAWAY (India), the two species are clearly differentiated as tabulated below: O. toleráns sp. n. 1. Body 2.3 mm long. 2. Ovipositor sheath short, in lateral view as long as hind tarsal joints 1-2. 3. First tergite as long as wide at hind (Fig. 20). 4. Stigma twice longer than wide (Fig. 19). 5. Second tergite fully, third tergite on its anterior half with longitudinal striation. O. bianchii FULL. 1. Body 3-3.2 mm long. 2. Ovipositor sheath long, in lateral view as long as metasoma or hind tibia - hind tarsal joints 1-2. 3. First tergite somewhat longer than wide at hind (Fig. 21). 4.
