Distribution. Occurring in Central Asia. — Locus typicus: Djarkent. Specific differences. A large-sized form with a conspicuously marked pattern, thereby externally highly different from Eupithecia mitigate Dietzte to which it would stand nearest as regards similarities of the genitalic structure. Remarks. Already DIETZE (1908) considered it important to emphasize its "robust" stature; however, this characteristic is only partially true, because there are just as large, and even bigger, species in the "innotata group".
