Hołyński, R.: Buprestidae (Coleoptera) from Vietnam

128 R. HotYNSKI Trachys (s. str.) vicarians laodamea OBENBERGER, 1929 — "Vietnam: Cue phuong, Ninh binh, 11-17. V. 1966" "beaten from bushes near creek", 2 ex. "Vietnam, Muong sen, 8. XII. 1971", 1 ex. — Tonkin: Hanoi (OBENBERGER 1929). Until now, only the type specimen have been reported, but records on T. vicarians OBB. from Indochina-Tonkin: Hoa-Binh, Hanoi, Lactho; Cochinchina: Saigon (DESCARPENTRIES & VILLIERS 1966a); Laos: Paklay (BAUDON 1968) — all refer probably to T. v. laodamea OBB. DESCARPENTRIES & VILLIERS (1966a) consider T. laodamea OBB. a synonym of T. vicarians OBB. and do not describe their material, but their fig. 10 clearly shows a long and narrow, linear (instead of short and triangular) suturai band of rufous pubescence, which is a constant feature of T. v. laodamea OBB. Trachys (s. str.) virescens bedeli OBENBERGER, 1921 — "Vietnam: Hanoi, Kim-lien, 9-11. IV. 1966" "netted in grasses", 1 ex. "Vietnam: Tuong linh near Phu ly, 24-28. V. 1966" "singled material", 2 ex. — Tonkin, Cochinchina (DESCARPENTRIES & VILLIERS 1965). Trachys (s. str.) elga OBENBERGER, 1929 — "Vietnam, Co xan, 27. XL 1971", 1 ex. — Laos: Vientiane (BAUDON 1968); Tonkin : Hoa-Binh, Tuyen-Quan, Tam-Dao, Bao-Lac, Hanoi (DESCARPENTIERIES & VILLIERS 1966b). Trachys (s. str.) auricollis SAUNDERS, 1873 — "Vietnam: Tuong linh near Phu ly, 19-23. V. 1966" "singled material", 1 ex. — India, China, Formosa, Japan, Tonkin. Trachys (s. str.) pseudolyra DESCARPENTRIES & VILLIERS, 1965 — "Vietnam: Cue phuong, Ninh binh, 3-10. V. 1966" "beaten from bushes", 1 ex. — Tonkin: Hoa-Binh (DESCARPENTRIES & VILLIERS 1965). — Until now, known only from the holotype. Trachys (Habroloma) topali sp. n. (Figs. 1-2) "Vietnam: Cue phuong, Ninh binh, 3-10. V. 1966" "beaten from bushes", 1 ex., holotype. Cuneiform, slightly convex, rather enlarged anteriorly (Fig. 1). Coloration dark bronzy (more cupreous towards sides) above, black beneath (including tarsi, palpi and antennae). Pubescence of dorsal side rather dense, uncontrastly tricolored: that of greater part of surface —especially on frons, towards sides of pronotum and elytra, and along elytral suture —rusty brown, leaving irregular, poorly determined spaces to hardly visible dark brown hair; on that background rather distinct Figs. 1-2. Trachys (Habroloma ) topali sp. n. : 1 = dorsal aspect of the body, 2 = prosternai process. — Figs. 3-4. Trachys (Habroloma ) tecmessa kaszabi ssp. n.: 3 = dorsal aspect of the body, 4 = prosternai process
