90 M. BABOS wide ecological limits. It is also probably more frequent than presumed, but often confused with M. procera if the characteristic greenish discolouration is not taken into account. I have seen specimens with greenish spots on the pileus, therefore probably those of M. olivascens, among masses of M. pro­cera offered on the markets. Herbarial data ; 1.
