Leptocera (Rachispoda) sajanica sp. n. (Figs. 7, 15-18) A new species of the L. (Rachispoda) lutosa species-group, thus, body with thick grey pollen, facial plate strongly protruding, 5 dc pairs, scutellum with four pairs of scutellars, lower edge of discal cell rounded, without vein appendage, hind trochanter with short black thick thornlets ventrally, hind tibia anterodorsally and posterodorsally with a row of long hairlike bristles each, differring from its congeners [L. (R.) paralutosa L. PAPP, spinicaudata L. PAPP, spinisterna L. PAPP, Mongolia, cf. PAPP 1973 : Figs. 74, 79, 80, 43 ; 75, 77, 78 ; PAPP 1974: Fig. 10, 11, 24-27] only by the male and female genital structures. Wing length of holotype male: 2.35 mm, that of paratype female: 2.64 mm; width of wing of holotype male: 0.94 mm, paratype female: 1.03 mm. Male epandrium with long and thick bristles, which are directed caudally. Anterior hypopygial process (Fig. 16) with two blunt apex, with a long hair ventrally and some additional short hairs; posterior hypopygial process perpendicular to the sagittal plane, much curved with a long blunt apical part; pregonite (Fig. 17) with comparatively wide basal part, tip curved; postgonite with one long and four shorter apical bristles (Fig. 18). — Female postabdomen (Fig. 7) with rounded 7th sternite, 8th tergite in 2 pairs of separated sclerites, dorsal ones with several thick bristles apically, ventral sclerites with blunt, medially directed apex; sternite 8 rounded, the two sclerites detached from sternite 8 comparatively wide apically and not attennuating apically as in its congeners; supraanal plate with a pair of short and thin bristles. Body length: holotype male: 3.1 mm, paratype female: 3.2 mm. Holotype male: XaprHH, 6 KM 0 KbipeH CaaHbi, OCOK. 6OJIOTO, ropojxKOB, II. VII. 965. — Paratype female: data same as for holotype. — The holotype is deposited in the Zoological Institute, Academy of Sciences, Leningrad, the paratype female is in the collection of the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest. L. (R.) sajanica sp. n. differs from its congeners first of all by the shape and armature of its male anterior hypopygial process (Fig. 16) and by the features of the female postabdomen. Leptocera (Rachispoda) tuberosa (DUDA, 1938) — 1 çf : Estonia, Vöhandu, Vindso, 20. 5. 1972, ELBERG; 2 çf: Latvia, Sigulda, Gauja, ajut. veek. kallas, 26. 5. 1972, ELBERG. — New for the fauna of the USSR. One of the rarest species of this subgenus. Leptocera (Rachispoda) varicornis (STRÓBL, 1900) — 1 rf, 1 $ : CTanHHaöan, non. p. KadmpHHraHa, 20. V. 1943, UlTaKejiböepr; 1 $ : CTajiHHaöajj, TanacHK., 21. IV. 942, TyccaKOBCKHii. — — It is never abundant though it is not a rare species on mud in the Palaearctic and Ethiopian Regions.
