reaching to about half of antenna! joint I. Antenniferous tubercles strong with long pointed apex, almost reaching (9 ) or slightly reaching beyond (çf) tip of anterior process of head. Eyes semiglobose, subpedunculate. Postocular border flattened, hind margin about straight. Antennae thin, antennái joint III cylindrical, the others variously club-shaped. Rostral atrium open, rostral groove wide, rostrum not reaching beyond hind margin of eyes. — Pronotum much shorter than wide (çf 35 : 96, 9 36 : 98), collar pentangular, from disc bordered by a deep V-shaped furrow. Anterior border of pronotum bilobate, both lobes reaching beyond collar, anterolateral lobe much surpassing it. Anterolateral angles rounded, larger than acute posterolateral. Lateral border cut out, hind border wide V-shaped, marked also by a furrow along border. — Mesonotum with large V-shaped central plate cutting metanotum into two plates, fusing with metanotum and shiny smooth median part of first two abdominal tergites. Laterally to central plate on female wider, on male narrower process pointing posteriorly, facing a process of metanotum. Lateral part with two furrows bordering lateral lobe. — Metanotum fused with mesonotum not only medially, and also fused with first two abdominal tergites, but sutures being quite distinct. Disc shiny smooth with two processes, one facing central plate of mesonotum, other posterior process of mesonotum. Lateral portion fused with connexiva II and III, lateral borders lobate. — Abdomen with large central tergal plate. Glabrous areas expressed. Connexival plates with carinae on outer side of glabrous areas. ConnexiFig. 1. Euricoris szentivanyi sp. n., male
