hyaline. Stigma dark brown with an indistinct basal light spot. Metacarp, r x + cuqu x + cu 3 opaque brown, further veins almost without any pigmentation. rf and host unknown. Locality: Hortobágy, Ujszentmargita (Lj Eupannonicum), védett erdő (= reserved forest), erdei tisztás fűhálózva (= netted on a clearing), 7-10 May 1974, 1 Çj (holotype), leg. DRASKOVITS. Holotype deposited in the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest; Hym. Typ. No. 2384. Apanteles minis sp. n. 9 (Figs. 27-29) The new species is a representative of the laevïgatus-group (NIXON 1965, 1972; PAPP 1976), and closely related both to A. infimus (HAL.) (Europe) and A.mycale NIXON (Sweden, Hungary: new record). The differences between the new species and the other two are hard to perceive, nevertheless, they are of specific value: A. infimus (HAL.) 1. Mesonotum dull to subshiny with fine and rather shallow punctation, punctures not clearly Separated. 2. Head and mesonotum at tegulae (in dorsal view) equal in width. 3. Two preapical joints' of antenna cubic to Subcubic. Antenna short, about the length of thorax + abdomen. 4. D l distinctly broader than high (37-40:24-26, X 100, Fig. 30). 5. First tergite 1.4(-1.5) times as long as wide at hind, with parallel (or subparallel) sides, see Fig. 1 (in WILKINSON 1939 : 54). 6. Propodeum Smooth with more or less small punctures, around lunule (rugó-)rugulose. 7. Third tibia normal in length, ratio of hind tibial to tarsal length as 35-40: 43-45. 8. Spines of outer side of hind tibia dispersed, blunt (Fig. 31, in NIXON 1972:742). 9. Ovipositor sheath about as long as third tibia. A . mycale NIXON 1. Mesonotum dull to Subshiny, its punctation similar to that of A. infimus. 2. Head very slightly wider than mesonotum at tegulae. 3. Two preapical joints "varying from one-and-onethird to one-and-a-half times longer than wide" (NIXON 1972: 727). Antenna short, longer than body. 4. D x distinctly broader than high (33:21-23, X 100, Fig. 31), similar to that of A. infimus. 5. "First tergite markedly narrowed apically" (NIXON 1972:704) (Fig. 32). 6. Propodeum similar to that of A. infimus. 7. Ratio of hind tibial to tarsal length normal, 35 : 40-41. 8. Spines of outer side of hind tibia dispersed, slightly less blunt. 9. Ovipositor sheath about as long as third tibia. A. mirus Sp. n. 1. Mesonotum shiny with strong and clearly Separated punctures. 2. Head distinctly wider than mesonotum at tegulae (50 : 40, X100). 3. Two preapical joints almost twice as long as wide (5.5-6:3-3.5, X 100). Antenna about the length of body. 4. Dj less distinctly broader than high (33:25, X 100, Fig. 28). 5. First tergite twice as long as wide at hind, with parallel sides (Fig. 29). 6. Propodeum on its median two-thirds rugo-rugulose, laterally tending to be Smooth. 7. Third tibia relatively short, ratio of hind tibial to tarsal length as 35:45. 8. Spines of outer side of hind tibia, especially on its upper part, dense, blunt (Fig. 27). 9. Ovipositor sheath twothirds as long as third tibia. 14 Természettudományi Múzeum Évkönyve 1977.
