Structure also generally as in çf , head seen from above with ratio of OOD, POD, OCD approximately 13, 6, 20, with relative width of postocellus 7, frontal impressions comparatively larger, as long as OOD, frontal furrow broader and deeper antennái joint 1 slightly more than twice as long as the minimum interocular distance at base of clypeus, clypeus: Fig. 35, mandible with the tooth on inner margin as in rf, in lateral view: Fig. 36. Head seen in profile as in rf, occipital carina also similar, antennái joint 3 approximately thrice, 4 about 1.5 times as long as wide at apex, structure of propodeum similar, pygidial area: Fig. 37, fore femur in dorsal view: Fig. 38. Pattern of punctation as in çf, but the punctures on mesonotum comparatively finer and closer, even on the disc, with interspaces smaller than punctures. Holotype: çf, Prov. South Pyongan, Pyongyan, Hotel garden, 7 — 8. VHI. 1971 (No. 150). - Paratypes: 6 9, the same place, 7-8, 12, 31. VIII. and 1. IX. 1971 (Nos. 150, 166, 225 and 229). 48. Cj Grossocerus (Ablcpharipus) assimilis: TSUNEKI, 1954, p. 60, 68. The present subspecies ( Ç çf) differs from the typical form in that the body is much smaller (5—6 mm) and the pronotum is different in structure. Pronotum seen from above with the collar transversely somewhat shorter, longitudinally slightly thicker and laterally slightly swollen, not roundly curved posteriorly as a whole along the anterior margin of mesonotum and its ridge running transversely straight, seen from the side with anterior inclination not so steeply running down as in the typical race. Otherwise ( Ç çf) as in this except that the yellow colour is much paler, rather whitish (natural?) and the enclosing furrow of the area dorsalis is slightly weaker. Holotype: çf, Prov. Ryang-gang, Plateau Chann-Pay, Sam-zi-yan, 1500 m, 25. VIII. 1971 (No. 197). - Paratypes: 1 çf , 2 9 do.
