Cerceris hokkanzana TSUN., 1961 Cerceris hokkanzana TSUNEKI, 1961, p. 42. (Korea). Specimens examined : 4 9, Kaesong, Mts. Pakyon, 20 — 21 km NE from Kaesong, 11. IX. 1971 (No. 260). Distribution : Endemic to Korea. 40. Ectemnius (Metacrabro) chrysites chosenensis ssp. n. Crabro (Grabro) chrysites: IWATA, 1933, p. 8; TSUNEKI, 1947, p. 283. Ecteminus (Metacrabro) chrysites: TSUNEKI, 1957a, p. 59. Differs from the typical race in that the appressed hair on the clypeus is not golden or brassy, but pure silvery and that the greater part of the femora and insides of the tibiae of all legs are not yellow, but black. Holotype: 9> Kaesong, Mts. Pakyon, Pakyon popo, 27 km NE from Kaeson, 9. IX. 1971 (No. 250). — Paratype: 1 9 , Prov. South Pyongan, Pyongyan, Hotel garden, 14. VIH. 1971 (No. 176). Other specimen : 1 $, Prov. South Pyongan, Za-mo san, 60 km NE from Pyongyan, 2. IX. 1971 (No. 230). (With the colour heavily changed by the cyanide vapour.) Distribution of the typical race: Sikkim (?), Formosa, the Ryukyus. The specimen recorded from the Ussuri Region may belong to the Korean form. Remarks. — In the specimens from Formosa the clypeal hair is pale brassy yellow and the black parts of the legs in the Korean material are wholly ferrugious. 41.
