weakly acidic soils. The fruitbodies regulate between 5.0-6.5 pH. They can be s subdivided into two groups: 1. ,,Acido-subacidophilous species I" prefer strongly acidic substrates, occuring in the interval 4.0-6.0 pH (Table 12). 2. " Acido-subacidophilous species II" occur both on strongly or on weakly acidic soils, between, the values 4.0-6.5 (7.0) pH (Table 13). R%: (Species occuring most frequently on weakly acidic soils). In 1967 only a few species could be relegated to this group. Their great majority occur in the subacidophilous forests, not owing to the weak acidity of the soil but as litter species.
