It seems to be a steppe-semidesert inhabiting and nocturnal species (see also TOBIAS I.e.). KASZAB (1965a) collected every specimen at night with a Petromax lamp. Localities. Bajanchongor aimak: 8 km. S from Somon Zinst, 1400 m., 25. VI. 1965 (Nr. 198), 1 $ (named as R. testaceus, see above). — Chentej aimak: 7 km. NE from Somon Mörön, 1200 m., 21. VIIL 1965 (Nr. 461), 1 tf. Rogas robustus TEL. — Antenna 64- (and not 60) jointed, somewhat longer than body. Propodeum strongly rugose, Tergites 1—2 somewhat rugose, tergite 3 rugoso-punctate. Proportion of r^.r^.r^ as 9:16:40, Cu 2 quadrate (r 2-.cuqu 1 as 16:12), r 3 straight, before its distal end curved. Reddish yellow, antenna, stemmaticum, mesosternum, propodeum, anterior half of 1st tergite, tip of all femora and tibia 1—2, distal two-thirds of tibia 3, and all tarsi black. Wings hyaline, stigma and costal vein black, farther veins brownish to blackish. Length 9 mm. A species very similar to R. aestuosus REINH. Described and hitherto reported only from Kirghizia (USSR). New to the fauna of Mongolia. Caught at night with a Petromax lamp. Locality. Suchebaator aimak; Chadatin-bulan, 60 km. N from Somon Bajanterem, 950 m., 31. VII. 1965 (Nr. 342), 1 9. Rogas tristis WESM. — The species is distributed in the Palaearctic Region. Not a common Rogas taxon. Hitherto not listed from Mongolia. In all respects corresponding to the descriptions (FAHRINGER 1934, TELENGA 1941), except subquadratic 2nd tergite, almost as long as wide: 35:40 (and not distinctly transverse). Antenna 46-jointed, rather longer than body. Head and thorax testaceous, abdomen black. Antennae black, scapi blackish red. Stemmaticum, mesopleura (except testaceous course of sternauli), mesosternum, metanotum, metapleura, and propodeum black. Posterio-lateral angle and hind margin of 1st tergite, lateral margins of 2 —3rd tergites also testaceous. Legs yellowish red. Wings subhyaline, stigma yellowish brown with a light basal spot, veins brownish yellow. Locality. Chentej aimak: 150 km. ENE from Öndörchaan, 10 km. S from Kerulen, 1000 m., 30. VII. 1965 (Nr. 331), 1 9. Rogas vittiger WESM. — Antenna 30—jointed (according to TELENGA, 1941, 47 —52-jointed). Ground colour dark fuscous, with black(ish) patterns on thorax and tergites. Recorded in some European countries and the USSR (European part, Transcaucasia, Kasakhstan). New to the fauna of Mongolia. Locality. Central aimak: Ulan-Baator, Nucht in Bogdo ul, 1600 m., 27.
