Body moderately elongate and fusiform; surface glabrous, strongly tinged with greenish-violet colour except basal three segments of antennae (the rest segments blackish), ventral surface of mesoand metasterna, abdomen and legs (sometimes tarsi infuscate) which are yellow brown. Elytral striae not clearly defined, intervals smooth and flattened except suturai ones which are clearly elevated.
