Body moderately elongate and fusi­form; surface glabrous, strongly tinged with greenish-violet colour except basal three segments of antennae (the rest segments blackish), ventral surface of meso­and metasterna, abdomen and legs (sometimes tarsi infuscate) which are yellow brown. Elytral striae not clearly defined, intervals smooth and flattened except suturai ones which are clearly elevated.
