Remarks: The features given in the description separate it from the species armatum. Unfortunately, all fragments represent the living chamber, thus the sutures cannot be studied. The tubercles are strikingly large, robust. The ventral side is smooth, that is, the "rugulosity" of the coiled shells show a fine ribbing or its traces. The interstitial ribs never show nodes. The divergence from the planispiral is very conspicuous in the specimens from Pénzesgyőr. On these, the tubercles are not so characteristic, and the interstitial ribs as well as the parts decurrent on the dorsal side from the ventral node of the main ribs are robust. It is perhaps owing to the unusual whorl (?) that they do not disappear entirely also on the dorsal side. The habit rather resembles the characteristics of Pseudohelicoceras SPATH, but the small-sized fragments cannot be evaluated precisely. Presumably all these fall within the rib variations so characteristic of the genus. Occurrence: England (dispar zone); France (Upper Vraconnian); Switzerland (Upper Vraconnian). Anisoceras eampichei SPATH 1861. Anisoceras pseudoelegans PICTET & CAMP., p. 69, pi. 50, figs. 6a —c, 7a—c. 1939. Anisoceras eampichei SPATH, p. 559, pi. 63, figs. 6 — 7, text fig. 197. 1968. Anisoceras eampichei SPATH — RENZ, p. 78, pl. 15, figs. 7a—c, 8a—b; text fig. 27f, 28d. Examined material: Three specimens. Localities: Tés, M; Pénzeskút, K 1? K 2 . Description: Cross section oval, ratios: 24:18, 28:22. Ventral side with two nodal series, emitting marginally two (rarely three) ribs laterally, continuing weakened also onto dorsal side. No lateral nodes present. Remarks: The specimens are rather worn. Despite the fragmentary suturai lines, they allowed comparisons. The species strongly resembles Idiohamites dorsetensis but differs by the furcate branching of the ribs on the ventral margin. This bifurcation is very conspicuous on the specimens of the Mts. Bakony. Also interstitial ribs can be observed between the double ribs emerging from the nodes; they originate apparently between two nodes. This rib-system deviates to a degree from that of the holotype and the paratypes. Anisoceras sp. indet. Stone molds, living chamber fragments of diverse size, also complete portions of the "horseshoe"-whorls. Neither suturai lines nor any finer sculpture can be studied. The traces of the ribbing and nodal series resemble those of perarmatum, but no conclusions can be drawn on the interstitial ribs. Localities: Bakonynána, B; Pénzeskút, K 2 ; Bakonycsernye.
