Of these, the per cent frequencies concerning the palatal depth of the adult individuals are given in Figure 7, relegated into 2 mm width classes and separated into male and female groups. Sexual dimorphism could successfully be shown in the course of study, observable in the mean values (cf. Fig. 8). Comparing the 1.30 mm difference with the deviation values of the palatal depths (males : 7.8 mm, females : 4.5 mm), it can be stated that the rate of sexual dimorphism is small as related to the deviation.
