for sacral setae, all dorsal hairs long, robust, ciliate. Outer sacral hairs quite short, thin, smooth, aciculiform. Ventral side (Fig. 11): Punctate, similarly to dorsal surface. Hairs p 1 and p., arising near base of palpus on gnathosoma. Anterior sternal plate large, coxal fields I and II of equal width, emitting long hairs. Setae coxales I externae longest of all in coxal field I; setae coxales II mediae longest of all in coxal field II, its adjacent inner hair comparatively short. End of former one thin, flagellately arcuate. Setae coxales II externae slightly thicker and more robustly ciliate than all other hairs. Posterior sternal plate with well developed apodemes 3, 4, 5, and ventrum, constituting a closed network. Prae- and poststernal as well as axillary hairs long, without any essential difference in length. Inner and median caudal hairs arising considerably nearer to each other than median to outer ones, and also essentially shorter than these latter. Legs: Also punctate. Tibiotarsus of leg I (Fig. 12) of uniform thickness throughout, claw robust; solenidion m 1 largest, solenidion to 2 smallest of all. Solenidia rp 1 and 9> 2 of about equal length. Hairs / and / shorter than hair a. Solenidion ou extremely small on legs II and III, also adhering plate small and thin. Hairs p and o longest of all on leg IV (Fig. 13). Type-material: 1 ex. (Holotype: T-1187 p-69): As-99; 3 ex. (Paratypes: T-1188 p-69): data as for holotype; 2 ex. (Paratvpes: T-1189 p-69): As-100; 1 ex. (Paratype: T-1190 p-69): As-102; 4 ex. (Paratypes: T-l 191 p-69): As-106. Remarks: By its extraordinarily characteristic ventral hairs, the species stands unique among its congeners. Concerning the hairs of the coxal field, similarly elongated ones are known only in Pediculaster sellnickianus RACK, 1965, but there the elongated ones are setae coxales II internae.
