SCHMIDT, slide No. 391, VOJNITS On the upperside of the wings of the females, the greyish hue covers a larger area than in the males. In the Hungarian race, the ochreous yellow is more vivid and dehmited primarily to the postmedian line and the outer margin, whereas in the nominate form this colour is paler and appears mixed into grey on almost the entire wing, especially in the median field. On the underside of the wings, the dark grey pattern is more extensive than in the males, and stronger than in the nominate form.
