and considerably longer than other two. Distance between internae and externae 1 smaller than that between externae 1 and externae 2. Leg I: Tibia and tarsus merged into tibiotarsus. Claw on short pedicel. Sensory tube 4 fused with joint, preceding claw 3 long, thin, arcuate, claws 1 and 2 shorter. Leg II: Tarsus with one long, tibia with one short, sensory tube. Caruncles between claws of legs II, III, IV attenuating, pointed. Material examined: 1 ex. (Holotype): "Moss on soil in alderwood swamp among sand-hills, Bugac, 16 June, 1966, leg. S. MAHUNKA". — 12. ex. (Paratypes): with same data as Holotype. The Holotype and 10 Paratypes are deposited in the Zoological Department of the Natural History Museum, Budapest ; 2 Paratypes in the Zoological State Institute and Zoological Museum, Hamburg. Remarks : The characteristical feature of the new species is the fourth sensory tube adnate to the tibiotarsus of leg I. Among the species of the genus Pygmephorus, a similar character is found only in Pygmephorus pratensis KRCZAL, 1959, and Pygmephorus tarsalis HIRST, 1921. However, it can be easily distinguished by the chaetotaxy of the dorsal and ventral sides. Pygmephorus spinosus KRAMER, 1877 Locality: Dömörkapu, Pécs, 8 March, 1966, leg. S. MAHUNKA. Pygmephorus togatus WILLMANN, 1942 Locality: Sástó, Mts. Mátra, 13 Nov., 1963, leg. S. MAHUNKA — Óhat, 3 May, 1964 leg. S. MAHUNKA. Microdispus fageus (RACK, 1965) Locality: Tahitótfalu, 10 April, 1962, leg. S. MAHUNKA. — Dömörkapu, Mts. Mecsek, 9 March, 1966, leg. S. MAHUNKA. — Litter of poplar woods, Fehérgyarmat, 10 June, 1966, leg. S. MAHUNKA. Microdispus pseudobovatus sp. n. Length: 132 p., breadth: 93 jx. Dark yellow. Dorsal side (Fig. 3): Propodosoma almost entirely covered by clypeus; anterior margin straight, without any hairs. Stigmata removed from one another, located near margins. Clypeal hairs of almost equal length, setae humerales internae arising anteriorly of externae and extending to point of origin of setae dorsales. These latter very long, projecting beyond posterior margin of body. Setae lumbales internae and externae, as well as setae sacrales internae and externae, spaced far apart, formers of equal length, externae somewhat longer and thicker of latter. All dorsal hairs strong and densely ciliate. Ventral side (Fig. 4): Coxal laths well developed on propodosoma. Epimere I reaching sternum. Setae coxales I internae and setae coxales II internae of equal length; setae coxales I externae short; setae coxales II externae longer but thinner than preceding ones. Hysterosoma with short sternum II, subtending an acute angle with epimere III, its sides directed towards leg III. Setae praesternales internae arising further away from one another than longer externae, originating at terminal point of epimere III. Setae poststernales internae situated anteriorly of externae, these latter located at base of legs IV, more incrassate and twice longer than internae, extending to posterior margin of body. Three pairs of caudal hairs present ; distance between internae and externae 1 smaller than that between externae 1 and 2 ; these latter longest of all.
