In KIEFFER'S original description only one specimen of this species was mention f ed, from the following locality: "Patrie. Hongrie: Svetobrdo, en juillet (Collection du Musée de Budapest) ". This specimen is to be regarded as the holotype (Figs. 70— 76) ; the detailed data are as follows: "Sveto Brdo, 25. VII. 1893", "214", "Gonatopus albidus K, typ>" im BIRÓ'S writing (left fore leg, except coxa, on slide). According to KIEFFER'S diagnosis (1906 p. 504, 1914 p. 110): "mandibules à 3 dents brunes" incorrect, there are well distinguishable four teeth; already by a 40 tiirnes magnification; "le 2 e article . . . presque deux fois aussi long que gros" really alánost two and a half times longer than broad; "branche externe de la pince inerme" correctly: proximal part of enlarged claw with three small lamellae (Fig. 72). Some addition to the description: Head lengthened behind eyes. Ocelli forming an acute angle, POL : OOL = 3 : 17(100 X). Deepest part of vertex with a faint longitudinal keel. Maxillary palpi with 4 segments, labial palpi with 2 (Figs. 70—71). Segments of antennae 1— 10 = 5 : 4 : 10 : 7 : 6 : 5 : 4 : 4 : 4 : 6. Pronotum : mesonotum : scutellum : metanotum + propodeum — 16 : 8 : 5 : 39. Length : breadth of propodeum = 39 : 20. Posterior part and both sides of propodeum transversely wrinkled. Length : breadth of fore trochanter = 15 : 3 (Fig. 76). Length: breadth of fore femur = 30 : 8 (Fig. 75). Length: breadth of fore tibia = 27 : 4 (Fig. 74). Metatarsus (Fig. 73): segment 2—5 of fore tarsi: enlarged claw =11:2:3:10:15:14. Tibial spurs: 1,0,1. Abdomen petiolated.
