Móczár, L.: Remarks of some types of Drynini and Gonatopodini (Hymenoptera)
KIEFFER wrote of the original material (1906, p. 505) as follows: „Patrie. Corse (Collection de MARSHALL)". The data of the specimen in Coll. Mus. Nat. Hist. Hung, are the same: „Corsica", „dichromus M. Coll. MARSHALL" in KIEFFER'S writing, „dichromus M." in MARSHALL'S writing, „245", „Dicondylus dichromus K. typ." in BIRO'S writing (red) (right tibia and metatarsus and left tarsi on slide; right tarsi 2—5 missing), consequently this species can be regarded as holotype. There are some differences between the diagnosis (1906 p. 504, 1914 p. 74 Fig. 41) and the holotype: „Branche externe de la pince droite sauf l'extrémité, armée ... de 5 lamelles espacées; branche interne . . . avec 2 rangées de 4 lamelles espacées . . .", instead, there are found 4 lamellae on the left enlarged claw, and 5 lamellae on segment 5 hence just the opposite as what was written by KIEFFER. Further (1906 p. 505, 1914 p. 75): „3 E article aussi long que les deux précédents réunis" incorrect, because segment 3 hardly longer than space; the exact proportions of antennái segments 1—10 = 7 : 4 : 8 : 5 : 4.5 : 4.5 : 4 : 4 : 4.5 : 6; „tarse antérieurs à 4 E article long, 2 à 3 fois aussi long que le 5 E " incorrect, the right proportions of fore tarsal segments 1 — 5 (Fig. 35) and enlarged claw — 11 : 2 : 3 : 7 : 12 : 10 ; „noeud antérieur du thorax . . . clair" correctly: pronotum light yellow, lateral sides of mesonotum with black streaks, its middle part and all other parts of thorax and abdomen reddish-yellow. The characters given by KIEFFER (1914 p. 73): „Mediales Scherenglied gerade" stated the opposite of his earlier diagnosis, namely: distally curved (Fig. 33). To be added to the diagnosis are: vertex remarkably shining, alutaceous. Occiput deeply emarginate. Head strongly rounded behind eyes, not thickened Ocelli in an acute angle, POL : OOL= 4 : 15 (100 x ). Mandibles with 4 teeth. Maxillary palpi with 4 segments (2+2), labial palpi with 2 (Figs. 35 — 36). Pronotum smooth, shining, mesonotum slightly shining, alutaceous. Scutellum toward mesonotum feebly defined. End of scutellum to be recognized by a slight transverse keel. Metanotum narrow. Anterior part of propodeuin only slightly shining and alutaceous. Mesometapleural suture almost effaced. Posterior surface of propodeum transversely wrinkled, which extends down to the sides. Pronotum: mesonotum : scutellum : : metanotum-|-propodeum = 16 : 7 : 2 : 23. Length : breadth of fore trochanter = = 11 : 4. Tibial spurs 1,1,1. Petiole black, tergite 1 greatly yellowish-testaceous. As it appears from the above characters, this species differs in many respects from Donisthorpina formicola RICHARDS (1939 p. 201, 202). Dicondylus pusillus (SZÉPLIGETI) Labeo pusillus SZÉPLIGETI, 1901, Dritte Asiat. Forschungsr. Zichy, 2, No 281 p. 156 çf Laberius pusillus: 1914, KIEFFER, Das Tierreich, 41, p. 62 * Tin 1 original material consists of a single male in Coll. Hung. Nat. Hist. Mus. with labels as follows: „Rossia, Kasan", „1898 6. 13", „Exp. ZICHY leg. CSÍKI", „Labeo pusillus n. sp." SZÉPLIGETI'S writing (left antennái segments from segment 7 and right hind leg missing, mesonotum, abdomen, as well as right wings demaged). It should be regarded as the holotype (mouth parts and genitalia with last sternite on slide, Figs. 42— 46). SZÉPLIGETI'S description is to be corrected as: „Länge 1.25 mm" to 2 mm. „Xotauli nicht ausgebildet" incorrect, although, at a 100 magnification, there can be recognized traces of two converging notauli.
