Remarks — This species is nearly allied to the next species (C. tibialis LEFÈVRE ), but is distinguished from it by the following features: body smaller, more broadly ovate; 6th antennal joint slender like three previous ones and much thinner than 7th joint; straited punctures of elytra very much smaller (rather robust only at post-humeral parts and very strongly reduced posteriorly), hence interstices distinctly broader, flatfish, smooth and almost impunetulate. 26. This antennal character distinctly separates the present species not only from the preceding one but also from C. variabilis (BALY). Furthermore, the special metallic coloration of the present species is absent in C. variabilis (BALY). 27. Cleorina janthina LEFÈVRE Cleorina janthina LEFÈVRE, Mein, Soc. Sei.
