The mean is 34,9, higher than the nationwide average. Dominant species : Eucera clypeata 29,41%. Subdominant species : Melitta leporina 18,78%, Andrena ovatula 13,90%, and Halictus rubicundus 13,39%. Other species : Bombus lapidarius 3,28%, Eucera pollinosa 3,20%, Halictus eurygnathus 2,86%, H. vestitus 2,35%, Melitturga clavicornis 1,77%, Andrena flavipes 1,68%, Eucera nitidiventris 1,09%, Megachile argentata 1,01%, Halictus maculatus 0,25%, and some 46 other species. Summary Summarizing the results of the collectings, made in 27 lucerne fields in the years 1954, 1955, 1956, we captured 8168 wild bees (excluding the numbers of the honey bees) in 274 days, that is, hours, which means that we collected an average 30 specimens per hour. The means of the three years are : 34,63 — 31,70—27,28 ; the differences are not considerable. Dominant species: Eucera clypeata Er. 20,46%.
