Starý, P.: Synonymical notes on the Aphidiinae (Hymenoptera, Braconidae)

The examined type specimen corresponds to the original description except for the sculpture of the propodeum which is clearly areolated, with prominent central carina ; its rami form a central pentagonal areola and one large upper and one lower areola on each side. According to the type — revision it is necessary to sink Monoctonus Birói Győrfi, 1958 as a new synonym of Monoctonus nervosus (Halidav, 1833). Acknowledgements The present author is much indebted to N. E. B a j á r i for sending him the type — material from the collection of the Hungarian National Museum.
