length, about one and a half times as long as broad, cylindrical. Last joint about one and a half times as long as 7., gradually narrowed at tip. Wings lighter than in female, hind wings fully developed. Head and funicle joints black, abdomen at proximal 2 / 3 of 2. tergite dusky brown, tergites 4.—7. black. Legs, pedicel, scape reddish-brown. Described from two female and four male specimens. Holotype (Ç) and allotype (çf) preserved in my collection, in Budapest. Two females taken by Prof. Dr. J. Balogh on 13 June 1954, by the Moczarsky & Winkler desiccating apparatus at Tihany (Óvár), Hungary, on moss-grown rocks and ground ; four males taken by author on 27 April 1957 and on 30 June 1957, by the Moczarsk y —W inkier apparatus, on a slope covered by grasses, Budaörs (Mts. Csiki), Hungary. Closely related to Isolia Birói sp. n. Q, from which it differs by the length of the antennái joints, by the form and colour of the wings and by the sculpture of the pro- and mesopleurae. Biology unknown. Nominated in the honour of the great German hymenopterologist, A. Foerster. 2. Isolia Birói sp. n. Q. Q . Head transverse, three times as wide as long, a bit more than twice as high as long. Vertex and temples coarsely, anterior half of front and cheeks finely, reticulated and punctured, punctures dense and deep, posterior half of front with shallow punctures, almost smooth, shining. Hind ocelli twice as far from eyemargin as their own diameter. Eyes bare, as long as cheeks. Scape (fig. 4.) a bit thickened in middle, about six times as long as wide, deeply excised distally, longer than 6 following joints together. Pedicel pear-shaped, about three times as long as thick, gradually thickened towards tip, scarcely covered with erect hairs, as long as breadth of pedicel. First funicle joint narrower and much shorter than pedicel, about two times as long as broad, gradually broadened towards apex. Second joint longer than thick, about as long as 3., 4. wider than 3., cupuliform, 5. broader and longer than 4. cupuliform. First club joint subequal to second, third joint narrower than 2., but somewhat longer than latter, gradually weakened distally. Praeseutum, mesoscutum finely sculptured, cutaneous, with two short, fine, convergent, parapsidal furrows in distal 2 / 3 . Scutellum semicircular, with two sharp longitudinal keels on both sides, otherwise striated, striae well visible. Propodeum with an irregular, undulate, translucent, silvery membrane. Propleurae with fine, indistinct punctures. Pro- and mesopleurae with long, sharp ridge, running from tegulae to fore coxae. Mesopleurae above with some few transversal lines, smooth and shining below. Metapleurae with fine, short, silvery hairs. Wings fully developed, transparent in proximal l / s otherwise smoky, with irregular spot in middle. Hind wings hyaline, with two hooklets. Petiole narrowed at base, about six times as broad as long at apex, with dense, fine, microscopical, silvery hairs. Second tergit longer than 5 following tergites together, with fine, dense, silvery hairs on base, otherwise smooth and shining. Following tergites smooth and shining, gradually narrowed at tip. First tarsal joint of fore legs shorter than four following ones together, second longer than third, third longer than fourth, fifth a bit longer than third.
