The conclusions arrived at from the data of the specimens found supports the generally known fact that most of our migrants leave our country in a southwestern direction ; their spring migration also follows the same course. Owing to the special interest, I call attention to the data of the spring migration of the Red-footed Falcon from Bastia, Corse. We dispose of very few report data on this bird for the whole of Europe. What few facts we know of its migration tends to shew that it leaves Hungary in a southern, indeed, in a southeastern direction, whilst it returns from the southwest. The report on the bird shot in Bastia fits well into the data mapping the return journey of the spring migrants observed frequently above Balearic Islands, Eastern Spain and Southern France. Another interesting item íelates to the Night Heron, found 4 years after its banding in the delta of the Volga, and that too in breeding time which testifies on a manifest re-settling.
