Thorax one and a half times as long as broad (1 : 1,5) sharply and more densely reticulated than the head and less shining ; this sculpture on the propodeum much more shallow, especially at the lateral angles, the propodeum consequently strongly shining. Pronotum short, almost vertically abrupt anteriorly and tending to form a sharp margin above in the middle ; mesoscutum strongly transverse, parapsidal grooves at the anterior third clearly indicated ; scutellum as long as wide, distinctly shorter than the mesoscutum ; propodeum moderately declining, with distinct median carina ; spiracles ellypsoidal, nearly touching hind margin, spiracular sulci very faintly indicated ; lateral angles with a few whitish hairs ; neck distinct but very short, about a third the length of the propodeum.
